My topic was animal cruelty specifically poaching. Poaching is the illegal hunting of animals for money. I want people to understand that poaching can lead to extinction and that whales are living things too and deserve to live a life naturally. Also, I want the viewers to see how whales are being slaughtered by humans in order to satisfy the demand for their goods. Humans and animals can live together in the same world.

Artist Statement

I want everyone who reads this to realize the seriousness of using drugs and alcohol. A taste can lead to addiction, and addiction WILL lead to death. Hopefully this will make people think before failing into the temptation of drugs.

Omar Chavez-Love Over Being Violent

The issue that i discuss in my zine is the violence that occurs in Chicago. My opinion is that theres way too much violence going on everyday. Innocent lives are always taken due to all this chaos that goes on. I want people to understand the kind of violence and tragic events that go on everyday in Chicago. That way they will be more informed and know that these things are happening in our own city.

My issue is CPS sanitation. I decided to do this because I'm so tired of this problem everywhere! the schools are so GROSS and no one does anything about it! First i know it's the students' fault for making a mess but the school DOES NOT come to clean up the mess. This year is my last year EVER in a CPS school but it still will bother me for many years. We are the future so dont we at least deserve a good clean environment to learn in? Does the Board of Education not see this? NO! I KNOW they don't care because i'm 18 years old and this has been a problem since before I was born so DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! SAY SOMETHING TO SOMEONE! TODAY!

Ahisha Morales-who are we?

The issue that is been trying to be explained in this zine is all the racism and discrimination there is in  the world. I think this issue should be notice and there should be done something to stop it. I want people to understand the world they live in, and that it isn't right. There should be something we could do.
