We are exploring IDENTITY in our Guerrilla Classes.
- How do artists develop their artist's persona?
- How is this persona part of our whole identity?
- How can we represent ourselves through a simple image or text?
- How can the Artist's Signature or Tag express our individual identity?
It will be converted into a stencil for multiple applications.
They will also learn rubber stamp block carving and create block prints of their tag.
Students will have options to use their stencil or stamp all year long to sign their artwork.
As students develop their designs, I leave you with my own tag concept:
